Biles withdrew from the all-around final held on Thursday.

"We wholeheartedly support Simone's decision and applaud her bravery in prioritizing her well-being. Her courage shows, yet again, why she is a role model for so many," USA Gymnastics said in a statement about her withdrawal from all-around, claiming that Biles withdrew to focus on her mental health.

The gymnast also sat out the team's all-around final for which the U.S. squad took a silver medal on Tuesday.
